Leading Partner
The association “Bogastvo podeželja”, which took over the function of lead partner in 2016, was established with the aim of implementing measures for rural development within the framework of the LEADER program.
In the period 2007 – 2013, the association was the legal form of the regional local action group LAG Bogastvo podeželja.
In the area LAG Bogastvo podeželja we implemented more than 60 development projects in the period 2007-2013, together with municipalities, associations, professional institutions and companies, which improve the visibility of the countryside, the quality of life in rural settlements and the conditions for the development of agriculture and other activities. From the LEADER title, we drew 818.035,75 EUR of LEADER funds out of 841.722,00 EUR of available LEADER funds for the LAG area, which shows us a percentage of over 97% drawing.
In the period 2014-2020 it took on the role of the lead partner for the contractual partnership of the LAG Bogastvo podeželja.
During its operation, the association changed its president, Dr. Vladimir Korošec, who was the first president. He then became or remained the president of the LAG Bogastvo podeželja, and Peter Pribožič was elected president of the association in 2017.
As the lead partner, the association implemented approximately 60 projects in the period 2014-2020, obtaining additional funds from measure 19.3 in the amount of just under half a million EUR. During this period, EUR 1.619.204,46 EUR was allocated for the implementation of the strategy, and the last projects of the period are still ongoing.
It successfully participates in the development of the potential of the area, represents one of the key promoters of the development of the area and the countryside. By ensuring a bottom-up approach, it pursues the needs and wishes of the area.
The Association “Bogastvo podeželja”, through its employees, also participates at the national level in the preparation of umbrella documents for the implementation of Local Development Strategies and the CLLD/LEADER approach, as with 15 years of experience in the implementation of LEADER/CLLD and Strategy, it can significantly contribute to the optimization of the development of the measure.
Association “Bogastvo podeželja” will also be the leading partner of the LAG Bogastvo podeželja in the period 2021 to 2027.
The main tasks of the association as the leading partner of the LAG are:
- Promoting the development of the area,
- Discovering and developing potential,
- Technical and administrative management of the LAG,
- Assistance in the development of ideas and preparation of projects,
- And consistently following the 7 principles of the LEADER approach.
